TO YOU LOOS LIMITED are commited to maintaining the health, safety and welfare of its staff and customers in the provision of it’s services. It is our policy to do all that is reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury and damage to property and to protect everyone from foreseeable work hazards, including the public, insofar as they come into contact with the company as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods.



Peter Norrington, Director, is responsible for ensuring that this health and safety policy is implemented. However, when applicable, cooperation on the part of all employees is vital to the success of the objectives of the Health and Safety Policy and this will be actively encouraged.

Policy Aims and Objectives

The ‘To You Loos’ Team will endeavour to:

~ Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards and legislation.

~ Ensure that employees are aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and that these responsibilities are fulfilled.

~ Ensure that appropriate PPE is available and in good condition at all times.

~ Ensure safe handling and use of substances, as per the current industry regulations and guidelines.

~ Ensure that all guards, safety devices, and protective equipment etc. are used where necessary.

~ Provide such information, instruction and supervision, as required, to ensure safe operations.

~ Maintain all vehicles rigorously to ensure ongoing roadworthy condition.

~ Undertake regular risk assessments.

~ When attending Client, Contractor, Thames Water or other Sites – attend any H+S Induction process and read any H+S guidance and information made available.

~ Familiarise themselves with any Site Specific Procedures which may take precedence over this Policy.

~ Only use licensed and appropriate organisations to dispose of waste.

~ Incorporate relevant health and safety factors into business decisions.

~ Continually improve and monitor health and safety performance.

~ Update this policy at least once annually in consultation with all stakeholders where necessary.
